The Alpins method and the ASSORT program

The ASSORT program allows comprehensive analysis of treatment related to all types of refractive surgical procedures, cataract/IOL and glaucoma. Together with conventional statistical analyses, the ASSORT program can subject astigmatism data (from refraction, keratometry and topography) to the Alpins method of astigmatism analysis.

This site is devoted to the Alpins method, an important new approach to the management and analysis of astigmatism developed by Australian ophthalmologist Noel Alpins.
